Apparently, I haven’t updated in 2-3 months.
So here’s an update on my whereabouts! (if anyone cares)
I’m on my last year at art school and have been working on my thesis project, as well as worrying about life, post-graduation. I haven’t been drawing any fancy schmancy sketchbook pages recently. In fact, my sketchbooks are just filled with actual sketches and ideas regarding projects or work. Womp womp.
On the bright side, I’ve been working on some projects and I’m excited to post them when they finish! I’ll be making an exciting announcement (at least for me) on Monday.
Since I’m at it, lets answer some anon questions that have been sitting in my inbox:
1. “Did you make the Threadless shirt called Collecting Wishes, or did someone steal your idea?”
That is all Mathiole’s work. It was credited.
2. “whats the deal with the fake as tall as lions website you created?”
It was for a class final project to make any kind of website, and ATAL just broke up recently at the time.
3. “what kinds of markers/ pens do you have? your work is beautiful :)”
Thank you, kindly. I answered this previously, but I’ll say as of more recently, the Pilot Precise V5 is my go-to for everything.
On a last note, I’ve recently hit the 2000 followers mark! I would do a print giveaway but I honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to shipping prints. However, I will figure that eventually and will try to give away cool things in the future.
THANKS DUDES AND DUDETTES.
went to one of those painting places and made myself a bowl of fucks
15x22 inch linocut prints, limited edition of 14.
I received this in my inbox today. I’m not sure what I did to get this, but AWESOME!
One more class tomorrow! AHHhhhhh! I’m so glad this semester is nearly over.
Somewhere between my last post and this one, I reached 1000 followers. I wanted to do something exciting, but… it just didn’t happen. Please accept this sexy waitress instead. YOU DA YOU DA BEST.
Anonymous: Your art is definitely unique my new favorite/idol D: can we haz your fb page that we can stalk? :))
Thanks! No stalkable fb page, but there is my rather uninteresting life on twitter.
Anonymous: how long have you been drawing for? I'm sixteen and only recently started drawing non-doodles, I was just wondering- is drawing like gymnastics, where you're either born with it or you start when you're a wee tot, or do you reckon I could be alright if I tried? p.s. I know you aren't like super sensei so it's fine to be like "dude shut up"
dude shut up
I’m kidding. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Some people start early, and some just do it later. As long as you’re interested, nobody should quit just because they didn’t get an early start. Everyone gets better over time naturally, and one can boost this with more practicing!
Try not to be discouraged, because one day you’ll look back at your old drawings, and you’ll be like, “LOL.”
Hope this helps.
